How will virtual elections work?
We will do out best to make sure each candidates ideas and platforms are still heard by the student body. We plan to each candidate answer specific questions in place of the debates and meet & greets. Voting will take place virtually as will any meetings we have with the candidates. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions on the process during this time!
What is the calendar for elections?
May 10th | Interest Form Due
May 12th | Campaign Meeting
May 13th | Campaigning Begins
May 25th - 27th | Voting
May 29th | Results Announced
What positions can you run for?
What do you do in SGA?
You plan events that boost morale and spirit at East and the community. You serve as a main line of communication between the administration and students to help deliver the best quality representation. You are also responsible for running SGA meetings and committee meetings every month.
What events are SGA responsible for?
The CHCCS Dance Marathon, Homecoming and Spirit Week, Wildcat Wednesdays, and any other events that you choose to plan!
How do you represent the student body?
You send out surveys to get their input and a few SGA officers participate as student liaisons for the School Improvement Team.

- Sophomore (rising sophomores)/Junior (rising juniors)/Senior (rising senior) Representatives (2 per grade)
- Treasurer (any grade)
- Secretary (any grade)

- President (only rising seniors)
